TPS25982: TPS259827ONRGE e-fuse is tripping at 2.5A instead of 14A as per design

Hi TI team,

Greetings for the day.

We are using TPS25982 e-fuse in our design. I have attached schematic which we are using below. I have placed LDSTRT with 0ohm resistor based on our earlier discussion. My total load is around 15A. When i connect my boards, after 2.5A load it is getting shutdown.

I have observed package name on device as TP259827ON 11 S5F S37D. I have attached package screen shot below.

Kindly let me know if i do any mistake on schematic side or By seeing IC package name can you suggest me either we are using right one or not?

Thanks for quick reply. Here is the answers..

1. Is it during startup?

yes it is.

2. What is the load capacitance?

I have used 10nF (C418) at output of e-fuse and connected reverse protection circuit followed by EMI filter. The EMI filter has around total 470uF shunt capacitance. And this will connected to 12V to 3.8V switching regulator. You can see following schematic.

3. Can you share few test wave forms?

Ignore my ignorance. What kind of test wave forms. I don't have any test wave forms. With out connecting load e-fuse working fine. When i start giving load till 2.5 Amps it is working fine. After that if i connected load

e-fuse tripping. My continuous load for e-fuse is 14-15 Amp.

Please share start up waveform (include Vin, Vout, Input current, EN voltage) for two test cases, without load (disable the DC/DC converter) and with load
