LM5041: LM5041 Soft start Shut down issue

Hi Kubendran,

The faults including VCC Under-voltage, line Under-voltage or second level current limit, will disable the output drivers and discharge the soft-start capacitor. 

If the voltage at the CS pin exceeds 0.6V, the device will fully discharge the soft-start capacitor. When the fault condition is no longer present, a soft-start sequence will begin again. The CS pin  is very sensitive to the noise.

In the provided waveform, there is much noises at CS pin, which already has exceeded 0.6V. Please ensure that you take the measurements with very short ground connection directly to the ground pin of the controller and with the probe tip on the pins in question. Let's see is it a measurement noise or system noise?

Hi SIr,

At shutdown time  CS pin and  converter output voltage waveform attached for your reference. Some measurement error is their due to probe access in PCB area.Remaining waveform reference to schematic which has been sent to your mail id. Please reply .
