Recently, the company is working on a 6 series protection plate project with a coulombmeter, which uses bq40z80.
After configuring the parameters and burning the srec file into the bq40z80, and using it for a period of time, everything was ok. During this period, shutdowm operation was not performed, and the power supply of the power meter was rarely disconnected.
But with the deepening of the project, need to send bq40z80 shutdowm orders, or need to power off/on the electric operation bq40z80, discovered that these two operations can create bq40z80 data disorder, and can not burn srec file again, even if the P + and B + side short before power on. It always prompt " Device not in Rom mode ".This kind of phenomenon has appeared for many times, already abandoned now 10 pieces of IC.
