My customer is working withBQ29700EVM-610 for Lipo cell. Is there a way to disable tp4 to tp1 for first time using Lipo Cell?can you recommend a new solution so that when they insert a new battery I don't need to short these pins temporarily.
If he was to use a 100k ohm resistor from TP4 (DOUT) to CELL+, that does enable the output automatically when a new battery is connected without needing to short TP4 to CELL+ and the protection features do appear to function but the UVP does not kick in. is there another modification they could do to the circuit to enable the output automatically when a new cell is inserted?
