Hi,

Considering using BQ76952 for  our 16 cell  Battery pack. Would like to know

1. Is cell Balancing working on present samples ?

2. Is cell balancing only for one cell at a time ?

3. My application needs only cell  voltage measurement, cell balancing and  Temperature sensor measurement .  Have a micro controller for all other logic. One important requirement is  low operating and idle current. Any suggestions on some other IC that can do all these job , which  is already available in production now ?

    Hi Anil,
    Thank you for your interest in BQ76952.

    1. As per the section 11.1.3 of the datasheet, cell balancing  has been disabled in early samples. 
    2. BQ76952 will support manual or autonomous simultaneous cell balancing of multiple cells.
    3. We have a TI Reference Design (TIDA-010074) for a 16s battery, with BQ76940, a 15s monitor in production
