TPS65218: GPIO3/ AM335x WARMRSTn implementation

Part Number: TPS65218
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM3352

Hello team,

Our customer is developing their system with AM3352/ TPS65218D0, I received inquiry about “11 Warm Reset” on TPS65218D0 User guide( http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/slvuaa9b/slvuaa9b.pdf).

Customer plans to use DCDC1/DCDC2 as default setting (both 1.1V ). In this case, if customer does not need controlling AM335x’s WARMRSTn, could you consider that customer is able to implement GPIO3 to pullup-high ?

I’m not sure if AM335x should be controlling WARMRSTn on power-up/power-down sequence. Can I have your Expert’s advice/comments on this, please? I mean, I'd like to clarify if customer need to implement this connection.

It is really appreciated your quick reply

Best regards,

Miyazaki
