Hi there,

I’m working on an application that plans to use TPSM84624, but wanted to margin Vout high/low (+/-5%) for example. Just realized that although the Vout can be adjusted via FB pin with external resister voltage divider, it doesn’t have Trim pin. Wonder, if you have any thought?

I followed the thread. If I understood correctly, it is NOT possible to margin Vout high/low (+/-5%) with TPSM84624. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Ghasem,

I'm not sure why it would not be possible to use this approach to dynamically adjust the output voltage. Can you please elaborate why you thiink this is the case? Maybe I am overlooking something. With LM10010/1, you would set nominal resistor divider to the maximum voltage (with margin high, high trim), then the injected current will bring voltage down to nominal or below nominal.

Ghasem, you might find the information in this other thread useful, as it describes using discrete approach with FETs + resistors to implement margining.
