Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools
Hello,
I used WEBENCH to design a 4V-17V to 8V voltage regulator. I have attached the WEBENCH design results.
1) My first question is related to Ruvlo1 and Ruvlo2, they are 5.49k and 6.04k.
The max voltage allowed on UVLO pin is 6V, but with Vin 17V the voltage on ULVO pin seems to be around 8V (Voltage divider), I'm missing something ?
2) I used equation 17 and 18 of the datasheet to recalculate the ULVO resistors (where R8 is Ruvlo1 in the WEBENCH schematic and R7 is Ruvlo2) :
If I want Ven = 4.3V and shoutdown at 4V do I have to use Vsh = 4V ? In this case R8 = 29.9k and R7 = 60k so with Vin=17V I have UVLO pin voltage is around 5.7V that seems correct.
So can I use those two value ? are they correct ?
