On the above mentioned device how can we get obtain data from smbus? Was that device works in slave mode or Mastermode?

Hi,

The BQ78350 is a slave device. If you search the E2E forum, you will find many questions answered regarding the SMBus communcation. I recommend starting with the two links below:

but in technical reference manual it is mentioned that bq78350 -R1 works in smbus v1.1 with master mode
