Hello Team,
Could you please help me answer my customer question,
we are looking for a battery gauge IC for LTO 6S2P configuration, please suggest a solution which support deep temperature charging of LTO (1.5A each cell > 3A @ -40°C)
Thanks,
Needhu
Hello Needhu,
This is a pretty extreme temperature, let me check this and get back to you.
Sincerely,
Wyatt Keller
Hello Needhu,
Please check the bq34110 and see if the CEDV gauge will work. The LTO cells operate at a lower voltage so you'll need to order an EVM on your end and try it.
Hello,
Thank you for the suggestion. The EVM is ordered.
Can you help with following question?
Which ICs you would recommend for balancing, current switch and 2nd level protection?
Thank you in advance,
Best Regards,
Needhu

Hallo Needhu,
For protection & balancing, you can stack 2 BQ77915 (primary protection IC w/ cell balancing, stackable).
For secondary protection IC, you can stack 2 BQ7718.
If you needed a monitor with protection included, in addition to the gauge mentioned above, you can look at BQ76942.
Schönes Wochenende!
