    Hi Dylan! 

    Thanks so much for taking the time to get in touch. The LM5030 device can control a push-pull converter under open loop conditions as long as a pre-regulated input signal is provided. A great example can be found in the TIDA-00181 TI reference design. The associated documentation (found here) gives some tips and tricks on how to accomplish this.
