Hi, team

Could you please make some comments about efficiency / thermal / EMI performance to show which is better for air-condition application?

I have made a compare table (TPS54308 vs TPS5405) as below. Do you have some suggestions for this compare table to show which device is better for air-condition? And then we can give customer better recommendation.

    Hi Chester,

    TPS5405 will have better better EMI performance because of spread spectrum features.  TPS54308 will have better efficiency because it's synchronous buck converter (integrated diode) and low Rdson. 

    We will suggest TPS54308 because it has higher efficiency and better cost structure. Even it doesn't have spread spectrum features but we don't see complain about EMI features from air conditioner customers.
