TPS650861: Prepared OTP

Part Number: TPS650861

Hi support team,
Please let me know about prepared OTP.

「TPS65086100 User's Guide for NXP LS1043A」
www.ti.com/.../slvubk0b.pdf
I would like to use the OTP data used in the above material as it is,
Do you have the OTP data prepared by TI?
If it is prepared, is it possible to deliver it with the OTP data written?
Please also advise the model number in that case.

Regards,
Dice-K

  • Hi Dice-K,

We do not have that specific OTP available pre-programmed from the factory. That OTP would need to be programmed using the BOOSTXL-TPS650861 programming board, programmed on the end use board, or purchased pre-programmed from Arrow (which is programmed by Dediprog).

    Best regards,

    Layne J

  • Hi Layne,
    Thank you for your reply.

    (1)
How is the written OTP data verified?
    Is it the following method?

    BOOSTXL-TPS650861 EVM User’s Guide
    www.ti.com/.../swcu190.pdf
    Page-7, Step-8. 7
To confirm the OTP memory has been programmed, remove power from the device and
re-apply power. Click the button in section (1) to enter programming mode and click the
button in section (5) to confirm the program still matches.

Are "the button in section (1)" and "the button in section (5) the buttons on the Device Controls Programming tab?

    (2)
Can we purchase products programmed by DediProg in Japan?
Although the distributor is not Arrow.

    Best regards,
    Dice-K

  • Hi Dice-K,

    1. Yes you are correct, that is the best way to verify the OTP data and yes those are the correct buttons being referenced.

    2. I am not aware of DediProg Japan offering those services, we have only worked with Arrow in the past and they use DediProg in Taiwan to do the programming. You are welcome to reach out to DediProg in Japan, but I am not sure if you will have success in that regard.

    Best regards,

    Layne J
