TLE4275-Q1: TLE4275-Q1 reset out maximum delay query

Part Number: TLE4275-Q1

Dear TI Team,

We are using TLE4275-Q1 and the query is regarding Reset out (Pin 2) of LDO.

As per the datasheet, reset delay can be vary depending on Cap value. which is around 15.4mSec by using 47nF cap.

Also, as per the formula given in the datasheet, the delay value coming 15mSec with 47nF.

Now Query is that we have a special requirement of around 70mSec delay, which is looking achievable with 220nF as per calculation with the formula given in the datasheet.

Can you please confirm that if we use 220nF or bigger Cap value then is 70mSec delay practically achievable or any limit?

and what is the maximum delay we can achieve by increasing the value of cap more and more?

  • Hi Sachin,

I do not see any reason that there should be any theoretical limit to the achievable delay time, given the mechanism described in Section 9.3.3 of the PDS:

If you still have any concerns I would recommend testing this on the bench with an EVM.

    Best regards,
