Hello,

have problems to simulate

TPS65400 PSpice Transient Model

SLVMAI5.ZIP (73 KB) - PSpice Model

with lower 9 Volt input voltage.

this windows appears only with input voltage on V11 (SLVMAI5) less than 9 volt.

My goal is to find good parameter:

very high efficiency at ~900kHz - 1000kHz
~100kHz bode bandwidth
Cff for Ch.#0...3
COMP Network
inductor value

with

Input voltage 5.2...5.4 V
low ripple output voltage ~10mV

for outputs:

1.25 V @ max. 3.6 A

0.95 V @ max. 3.8 A

1.85 V @ max. 1.5 A

3.35 V @ max. 1.5 A

It is the same window that appears if You click on "Edit Runtime Settings" button in simulations window.

You will not be able to do efficiency estimation with the Pspice model. Can you please reattach the image in your original post?

Hello Gerold,

I did some research about this "error" - it known under "convergence error". It is the same window that appears if You click on "Edit Runtime Settings" button in simulations window. It is just don't work to paste a picture here.

And I think it is not important to solve my problem.

Can You simulate the model with 5.3 Volt Vin?

Can You pleas provide me a model I can simulate efficiency (with measurement profile) at 5.3 Volt input on it?

The TPS65400 device is specified to lowest limit 4.5 Volt.

As I mentioned earlier, the Pspice models are not built to simulate efficiency if thats what you are looking for.

Nevertheless, you should be able to check the transient performance.

Also, why do you want to modify the "run time settings"? Have you tried using the "Edit Profile"?
