Hello,

I am using bqStudio (v1.3.101).

I want to store the register of bq2419x in the flash of bq27531 and write it to POR automatically.

Press write_all to confirm that it has been written.
Remove all power supplies, including batteries.
Reconnect the batteries. (POR)
I reloaded the register value of the charger IC in the registers tab, but the settings were left at their defaults.

Is there a way to automatically set the register value of bq2419x?

    Hi Kameoka fumiou,

    There is no way to set the charger registers. You can only do this via bypass mode and have the host write to it. The charger registers are not in flash so they need to be re-written every time the charger loses power.

    I understood the following two points
    -Charger register value overwrite is not automatic
    -The value of REG00-0A held by the gauge is not used

    Is there an order to set the register value of the charger?
    I think the following procedure is essential.

    --Bypass mode is set for the gauge flash.
    Charger Option: 3fh
    -Stop the WDT on the charger. REG05: 9Ah-> 8Ah
    -Change other register values in the charger

    Hello Kameoka-san,

    Yes, that's fine, it depends on their host. If you are writing to the charge voltage and current, it will really depend on resetting the watchdog on their gauge or host.
