BQ40Z80: 7S problems with already made BMS's

Part Number: BQ40Z80
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQSTUDIO, EV2400, BQ34Z100

Hello!

I am using BQ40z80 in my designs ( 7S1P and 7S4P) .

Boards have already been made and produced.

I found out that the chip will no longer support 7S builds.

But I don't have the ability to quickly redo everything

And I had difficulties, the same as following the links.

https://e2e.ti.com/support/power-management/f/196/t/862478?BQ40Z80-BQ40Z80-Device-not-in-Rom-mode-error

But nowhere are solutions written to these problems.

It is important for me to conduct a learning cycle and give the batteries to the customer,

but at low RSOC levels, the IC begins to behave inadequately, to reboot, or not to react at all.

What should I do?

I did not find specific recommendations on the forum,

and all threads are closed as "solved".
