HI team

we are realising 900W interleaving PFC and found that the input W is too large (input 4W) under 90Vac no-load or 0.0001A

I found that 300W EVM board also has this problem.

Is there a solution?

Hello,

UCC28070 does not have a light load function like burst mode unfortunately. What other designs have done is put in circuitry to shut down the PFC when the system is in light load to reduce standby power.

Are you have a suggested IC that the function the same with ucc28070, but it can reduce input w at no load or light load

Hi Ian,

There is not an equivalent of UCC28070 with a low power mode function unfortunately. You may consider UCC28064A which has phase shedding and burst mode but this is a transition mode PFC, not CCM PFC.
