BQ25155: review

  • Hello,

do you not plan on using the LDO? You have VINLS grounded which is the input for LDO. If you don't need LDO, you can ground LDO pin also.

The device exits shipmode automatically when VIN is plugged in so you don't need to connect a FET gated by VIN to /MR. You can just connect a pushbutton to /MR.

I would like to confirm that PMID is not connected to battery. Also, what are the purpose of the inductors on PMID?

  • 1.do you not plan on using the LDO?

:If so, we ground the LDO as well.

    2. The device exits shipmode automatically when VIN is plugged in so you don't need to connect a FET gated by VIN to /MR. You can just connect a pushbutton to /MR.

:Button has other functions, so it is still connected in this way

3.I would like to confirm that PMID is not connected to battery. Also, what are the purpose of the inductors on PMID?:PMID is not connected to the battery, and the inductance is reserved for EMC. At present, 0r resistance is actually pasted

  • Great. Those we all my concerns

About adcin NTC resistance placement position, please help to confirm

    A. Place in the place with the lowest PCB temperature: similar to the battery interface,

    B. Other places

  • Hello,

This will depend on what you intend to do with the measurement. Note that the maximum voltage that can be measured on ADCIN is 1.2V. You can remove the pullup to VBAT and set ADCIN to current source mode.
