TPS3703: TPS3703B3050 : delay time setting :1ms (please check the schedmatic)

We use the TPS3703B3050 (setting delay time =1ms)

Q1 : Should we keep the R41=10K for Vsens =0.468V or modify the R41 value to 20K for Vsence =0.5V?

Q2:  Have had a suggestion of the SW2 location design? (when we put the SW1 RESET button, the RESET# will be to reset)

Q3: Have any Value should be improved?

  • Hi,

    You have selected the TPS3703 with a threshold voltage of 0.5V.  Your resistor of choices of 10K or 20K will not work.  I would suggest using R41=17.4K and R35=97.6K. The voltage going to the SENSE pin will be 499.3mV at VCC=3.3V.  Given that the part has +/-3% voltage thresholds, VIT-(UV) = 485mV and VIT-(OV) = 515mV.  

    RESET is a logic signal and therefore SW2 location is not too critical.  

    The component values used with TPS3703 should be workable.  As mentioned above, R35 and R41 should be modified for your application.
