BQ20Z45-R1: App note on LiFePO4 cell balancing - parameters are "protected (classified as “hidden”) but can be unlocked by TI’s applications staff." - can those be unlocked?

My customer is asking about the note in the SLYT528 app note. He wants to know if someone from the apps team can help him unlock/access the parameters? Or are these not touchable by the customer for a particular reason?
