TPS65381A-Q1: about the window1 and window2 time set

Hello

I use the tps65381 .I only use the ti demo.spna176a.

WINDOW 1 Set time 40ms and window2 set time 15ms

I see the paper about tps65381. That introduce the win1 max /min and win 2 max/min,but I dont know the win1 and win2 the relation.

How much the value win1 than win2.,How big is their difference. TPS65381 can receive.

Hi Whong,

I would recommend reviewing the TPS65381A-Q1 datasheet sections covering the watchdog (section 5.4.11 and section 5.4.12). There are formulas that allow you to calculate the window lengths that will be set by the MCU. Those sections should provide the information you are looking for.

I dont find the relationship of win1 and win2. just talked about the maximum and minimum.

Is it OK within range？No win1 is much larger than win2.

Hi Whong,

As long as you follow the formulas found in the datasheet for Win1 and Win2 and have the MCU configured to work with the win1 and win2 settings this should be all you need to do for the watchdog timing.
