1,/CE pin,Is the chip enabled directly grounded?

2,PSEL pin,Charging current I2C can be set. Can the foot be suspended without using it?

3,/QN pin,Shipping mode control, is this baseband IO port control?

4,The chip is equipped with a watchdog circuit. Is it set through I2C?

If the baseband chip software crashes, how can the system be powered off and restarted?

5,If we don't use PMID,PMID_GOOD, do we just hover?

  • Evan,

1,/CE pin,Is the chip enabled directly grounded?

The /CE pin is not internally pulled low, you must ground it to enable charging.

2,PSEL pin,Charging current I2C can be set. Can the foot be suspended without using it?

The PSEL pin sets the input current limit. This is input current limit can be overwritten by writing to the IINDPM register.

3,/QN pin,Shipping mode control, is this baseband IO port control?

I do not know what you are referring to as baseband IO port control.

4,The chip is equipped with a watchdog circuit. Is it set through I2C?

    Yes, REG05[5:4].

5,If we don't use PMID,PMID_GOOD, do we just hover?

    Correct

  • 1,Shipping mode can be controlled with I2C register?

2,Jeita charging, is there a simple formula to calculate the resistance?

    Best Regards,

    Evan

  • Evan,

1,Shipping mode can be controlled with I2C register?

As described in 8.3.7.1 BATFET Disable (Enter Ship Mode) and 8.3.7.2 BATFET Enable (Exit Ship Mode), ship mode can be entered by setting the BATFET_DIS bit appropriately.

2,Jeita charging, is there a simple formula to calculate the resistance?

As described in 8.3.6.4.1 JEITA Guideline Compliance During Charging Mode there are two equations for calculating RT1 and RT2. To calculate RT1 and RT2 you will need to know your desired T1 and T5 and the resistance of your NTC and T1 and T5.
