Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS63900
Hello,
We are using TPS610981DS in our project. Attached is the schematics for the same. We are observing some spikes on the input of this regulator. Attached are the images of the spikes that we are observing. We have set a current profile in our device and most of the time it will remain in sleep mode. When the device awakes from sleep mode at regular intervals, we are observing those spikes.
TPS610981DS will provide +3.3V supply to our radio transceiver/controller and +3.0V to the sensors. Due to high amplitude of spikes we had debugged the issue and decided to remove the decoupling capacitor C4 on +3.0V output of the regulator. As we had removed the decoupling capacitor on this voltage, there was reduction in the amplitude of the spike. Please let us know whether it is feasible to remove this capacitor on +3.0V output on VSUB terminal of the regulator for long time ?
Waiting for your quick response on this. Thanks in advance.
