Dear:

my customer said end-customer request 24V input PD 13W output, but normally what I found is 48V system, UVLO level is more than 24V, so could not work;

can you give me any advise？

note：end customer say that more than 24V system belong to no-safety operation ，need the man who have electrician license to handle with the machine. it will waste their cost

Please provide more information. Are you referring to a PD for USB, or for Ethernet?

PD for ethernet, 24Vsys ，better meet both 24Vin and 48Vin ，output 13W

Cooper,

The TPS23730 is a combined PoE PD controller and PWM controller. One of the features is the PPD pin that allows turning on the internal hot swap FET at a lower input voltage. We have a number of designs that feature this option and will work down to a 16V input. What output voltage do you need?

It is interesting that the customer cannot use PoE because of safety issues. One of the reasons for keeping the maximum voltage of PoE at 57V was to comply with SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltage) of 60V maximum per IEC60950. Then it is safe to handle.
