BQ76942： What role does D3 & D6 & D8 play in the circuit? Can I remove D3 & D6 & D8?

The function of these diodes is described in Section 2 (Reverse Charge Circuit) of this application report: https://www.ti.com/lit/an/sluaa09/sluaa09.pdf

They are not required, but may be needed if your system needs to be able to handle an accidental reverse charger connection.
