USB-TO-GPIO: Keep getting "No device found" message

Part Number: USB-TO-GPIO

Hi,

I'm trying to operate newly purchased USB-TO-GPIO to activate (i.e. toggle GPIOs) of a proprietary board (NOT TI EVM), however I can't get it to work.

When using the designated GUI (in the product page) I get "adapter not attached" message (see screen cap

Following this post, I've installed Fusion digital power studio and tried launching 'Driver Device GUI', however I keep getting "No devices found!" error message.

When clicking 'Offline mode' I get the "Missing or unexpected command line options" :

The green LED is on

Another strange thing - it seems as the label on the devices is rotated 180deg (note "USB" & I/O" labels)

Any advice how to get it up and running is appreciated.

BTW,

Can USB-ANY be used instead? Does it have sowftware libraries to support its functionality (.NET or alike)

Thanks
