LM2576: Layout review

Dear Sir,

We would like to verify layout for LM2576 adjustable DC regulator at earliest. As we will be using this product in automotive application it should work well it should pass EMI-EMC tests etc. and should work well in normal condition too.regulator lm2576 layout.docx

Hi,

A couple comments
1) Bring input capacitor closer to pin 1
2) Make the pin 2 trace short between output to inductor. Because that trace is switching so you want it to make the node as small as possible so it does not radiate EMI
3) Are you using EMI filter at all?
