CCS 4.2.0.10018 SYS/BIOS xgconf weird behavior

hi all,

i am using CCS 4.2.0.10018 to develop programs for EVM6474, everything went OK (programs without BIOS)til i tried to use SYS/BIOS for a project.

Some views like outline or available packages responsiveness becomes slow.And when i create a task, it does not appear in the outline view(i have to close and reopen it multiple times until it appears), and when it appears, it has a weird name different from the one i gave it. Also for Idle module, when i use it it appears in the view, but i cannot change it's parameters, like if the interface freezes.

I am using windows xp sp3 professional version.

is there any similar bugs reported about that version? what could be the problem ?

    Hello Mohammed,

    The problems that you are seeing are known issues in the XGCONF tool shipping with XDCtools 3.20 (which ships with CCS4.20). We are working on a new version of XGCONF (XDCtools 3.21) that is expected to release in the end of April that will be much faster and will address these bugs as well. In the meantime it may make sense to directly add/edit code in the configuration script file. There are lots of examples in SYS/BIOS that you can use as a reference. We can also provide guidance on specific issues that you encounter.
