This alert applies to all subscribers using TI offered Windows Embedded CE Software Development Kit (SDK) for Cortex-A8-based Processors version 01.xx.xx
We have found some issues with the Install/Uninstall script supplied with the package. We regret the inconvenience - TI acknowledges the severity of the issue and is working towards providing fixes in a timely manner. - 79469 - WINCE_GFX_SGX_01_01_00_setup.exe installer incorrectly resets the DVSDK_INSTALL_DIR environment variable
- 79547, 79549, 79550 - BSP, GFX, or DVSDK uninstall script incorrectly removes entire parent directory regardless of whether directory is empty or not
- 79749, 79750, 79751 - Uninstall of any one (BSP, GFX, or DVSDK) will result in uninstalling all three
- 79752, 79754, 79755 - Previous version (of BSP, GFX, or DVSDK) installed with no bump of ver num. - uninstall will remove all versions of product
Please note that we will make a patch release available within a week. Also note that other than installation fixes, there will be no other source code change or fixes in this new release.
