TDA4VM: Jacinto Edge AI Monthly Webinar (06/03/2021): Build your first Edge AI "Hello World" application today with free online tools (One session in Chinese)

Part Number: TDA4VM

Embedded AI development has never been simpler. With TI Edge AI Cloud—a free online service for evaluating TI Edge AI processors and software solutions, you can create your first “Hello World” embedded AI application in minutes. In this webinar, the second in our monthly series on TI Edge AI technology, you will learn:

  • How to create your first “Hello World” AI application using industry-standard deep learning frameworks
  • How to port the application to an embedded edge device using a Jacinto TDA4x processor
  • How to unleash TI’s class-leading deep learning inference accelerators and other vision and image processing accelerators without any hand-tooling
  • How to get embedded inference benchmarks in minutes using a Jacinto TDA4x processor that you can access today via the cloud
  • How to get free AI tools to expand your application (e.g. optimized models for detection, classification, segmentation)

All of the tools and resources you need for this webinar are free and available online. So, you do not have to purchase hardware to get started. No AI software development experience is required either.

English Session:  Register here to save your spot: 06/03/21 10AM CST

Jacinto Edge AI monthly webinars are held on the first Thu of every month with a focus on a new topic. If you are interested in any specific topics in the future, please comment here and we will be happy to plan for those topics. Thank you!

  • Hello everyone, We have our second session tonight. So, if you did not get a chance to attend the 1st session, please register and join the second one. The code example and clear instructions will be posted as a response to this thread after the second session.

    Thank you!!

  • J7AI_HelloWorld_Webinar.zip

Thank you all for joining the webinar. The attached ZIP file has presentation slides, code examples for you to reproduce all the 3 steps.

    - This HelloWorld example is provided to get developers up to speed on deep learning application development.
    - This example takes an image file, applies an open-source deep learning model to do inference, and outputs the image with an overlay of the results.

    - The application is run in 3 steps
    - Step1: run the hello world example, Step2: Run the same example on TI's Jacinto hardware in the cloud, Step3: enable deep learning acceleration to make the example real-time- Step1 runs on your computer (PC, MAC or Linux)
    - Steps2 and 3 run on TI's cloud tools.
    - So, if you want to directly go to cloud tools, you do not have to install the SW described in the "SW Installation" section of this document
