AM6442: NAND & GPMC Support

Hello,

What is the NAND support on the AM64XX? Is GPMC supported in the Linux SDK? If not, will it be supported?

There are posts on the processors forum that seem contradicting:

Hi Sarah,

To summarize the two threads, the AM64xx device supports GPMC from the SoC perspective, but currently the Linux SDK doesn't have the GPMC driver to enable it. We don't have a near term plan to add GPMC support in Linux yet.

Thank you! Is there a recommended workaround for those that use Linux? What are the Linux-supported boot options?

Hi Sarah,

Customers can use eMMC instead.
