Part Number: TMDS64GPEVM

Hi,

My customers are thinking about the AM64x power supply.

They are designing discretely using the Power Estimating Tool(PET). Therefore, we compare the "Estimated Power" of the PET with the power supply IC used in the EVM.

They have a question about the schematic pdf P.5 of TMDS64GPEVM.

"Power Estimation" item and AM64x power line name do not match. Please tell me which name each item corresponds to.

    Hi Rei,

    The voltage names in the PET are grouped by voltage level for simplicity.  The data sheet will have the full mapping.  There are two things to look for:

    1) VDD_CORE will be those core rails which can be either 0.75 or 0.85 (VDDAR_CORE will always be 0.85V).
    2) DVDD1V8 and DVDD3V3 are the IO rails, and will be application specific.  The data sheet will show these as dual-voltage IOs.
