Can you please provide more details on what is the PDK release you are using?  If this is on TI board or some custom board? Is it on TI released SW (PLSDK) or any documentation like that did not provide some details correctly or missing info?

When you attach a USB thumb drive to the USB host port on the EVM, Linux should automatically detect it and mount it under /media/ folder in the root filesystem. Do you have any issue while using a thumb drive on K2G EVM USB host port?
