CCSTUDIO: import demo-project completely without any "external" reference..

I am wondering if there is a way to import an demo-project "completely".. to be able to put every file into version-control.

want to release some sources and want them to be complete?!

otherwise I would have to write a 100 pages long guide how to install and setup CCS.. install it like I did on my machine..

How do you handle this? :)

Hi Sascha,

I imported this project to take a look. For the main project, it looks like most of the source file is contained in the project folder. The issue appears to be all the various header (and library) files that are referenced from the SDK directory. The three dependent projects however have a lot of linked source files (in addition to the header files). It will be a lot of work modify the projects to get rid of all "external" dependencies (I am assuming "external" means outside the project folders). It is not possible for CCS to do this automatically on project import. The projects were designed this way and you would have to manually modify them after import.

One thing you can experiment with is exporting the project to a an archive file. It will take the project and also pull in any linked files and put it all in an archive (zip) file. At least you won't have to go about digging for the source files yourself. It will not pull in the remote header files however. Also, importing the zip project has other issue since there is a known Eclipse bug where it will dump the previously linked files into the project folder - often breaking the build. Hence it may not be a viable solution. But you can try it:
