TDA4VM: Tcp/UDP communication in R5F

hello expert,

           I develop in the ti-processor-sdk-rtos-j721e-evm-07_03_00_07 about TDA4,  my customer want to use the Tcp/UDP in the R5F to do some application development ,could you show me some examples of how to use TCP and UDP in the SDK? for example,transmit and receive a message through Tcp/UDP. Thanks a lot.

    Hi,

    Which CPSW port do you want to use ? CPSW 2G or 9G ?

    Both CPSW 2G and 9G will be used in the future, firstly ，I usd the CPSW 9G in the R5F 2_0.

    Hi,

    I am assuming that you are familiar with building, loading and running process since you have already used CPSW 9G in R5F 2_0

    Please take a look at pdk_jacinto_07_03_00_29/packages/ti/drv/enet/examples/enet_nimu_example in SDK. It has support for both CPSW 2G and 9G. You can build for MCU 2_0 or MCU 2_1 and load via JTAG. You will also have to execute the sciclient server test application on MCU 1_0 first.

    You can then modify the example above to add a TCP echo task. See this E2E

    This TCP echo code can be added to any application running NDK so you can also add it to the Ethernet Firmware running on MCU 2_0 (going by your reply I am assuming that you are familiar with it)

    Now I need UDP communication to do the application function,but I see the file above,it is about TCP communication,could you supply me a demo about UDP communication,it is very important,thank you .

    Hi,Roy,

    I do the Eth development in the other demo gateway_demo,I'm not familiar with compiling the demo independently in

    pdk_jacinto_07_03_00_29,If we use the j721e_evm board,how to do the compiling and test? I think it is better that, you supply 

    me a demo about UDP send/receive demo about j721e_evm board,after i test the function in the pdk_jacinto_07_03_00_29

    normally ,then i port the function in my project,thanks a lot.

    I copile and run the application in the enet_nimu_example,the trace is :

    and it also can ping,but i do not know how to send UDP message in the demo,shoul I operate the interface EnetNimuApp_netOpenHook()?

    could you show me a demo how to send a UDP message?
