DRA744: Linux kernel 5.10 support for DRA74x (J6 and J6+)

Hi,

Our project require minimum Linux kernel 5.10 for DRA74x. The "PROCESSOR-SDK-LINUX-AUTOMOTIVE-DRA7X — Automotive Linux Processor SDK for DRA7x" has only 4.19.73 version. Does the kernel tree at https://git.ti.com/cgit/ti-linux-kernel/ti-linux-kernel/tree/ has support for DRA74xx processor or how can we able support for 5.10 version. Can you please guide us?

That should have support for DRA74x from the linux side but there is no packaged SDK which is 5.10 based for DRA7x.

What is your use case on 5.10 based Linux kernel?

Hi Keerthy,

We are into IVI systems. And initial phase of project with DRA7xx. We have to use yocto 3.3 and should migrate to yocto next LTS version. And there is requirement to stick to 5.10 version of linux kernel. We don't relay on packaged SDK. We primarily like to know support for this processor for yocto, BSP (drivers) and linux kernel.

Then the above mentioned branch should have support for what you intend to work on.
