i try to run the example dsk_app.out to hear a voice signal using the aic23 , but when i load the program on ccs4 and connectting the dsk , an error mesasge ( invalid format ) come out

it means the dsk_app.out

    Welcome to the TI E2E Forums.

    Did you re-build dsk_app.out? Or was it already built using earlier tools? Those could be incompatible with CCSv4.

    Which version of CCSv4 are you using?

    Where did you get the dsk_app.out file and the dsk_app project?

    What processor was the original dsk_app example built for?

    What else was in the error message? At what point in your connect / load / run process did the error show up? In which window did it show up?

    My apologies that I only have questions and not answers.

    i had posted a message again on e2e concerning this problem , my answers to your questions are as follows:

    the dsk_app.out was originally built and i don't know which version of ccs was used but i guess v3.? , i got it from http://c6000.spectrumdigital.com/dsk6455/v2/  after that i made a new project and i copied the content of the dsk_app folder located in the ..........\boards\dsk6455_v2\examples\dsk_app in my project in the workspace , i tried then to build my project i get 6 errors which i took much time trying to fix them..

    actually i don't know what they do use to build the project and got the .out file

    really sorry for not being able to provide you with  a printed screen photo to show you the errors , due to the net speed, but i describe you the errors

    after i copied the content of the dsk_app folder into my project in the workspace and build it i get these errors :

    the console window is filled  with many errors but the problems window tells me the following

     

     

    [ ***** USER ERROR ***** - ] GBL_config size parameter error.

    [ ***** USER ERROR ***** - ] GBL_config was passed too few parameters.
    [E0000] No matching right parenthesis
    [E0003] Unexpected trailing operand(s)
    [E0004] Absolute, well-defined integer value expected
    [E0200] Bad term in expression codec
    finally if you downloaded the target packet at the above site you will be in picture with these errors
    sorry for the long message , i appreciate your help
