I try to use DCC on our custom board with AM6546 SR2.0, but can not put anything in the source registers (DCCCLKSRC1 and DCCCLKSRC0).

Writing to DCCCLKSRC1 and DCCCLKSRC0 always gives 0 in registers
Writing to DCCGCTRL, DCCCNTSEED0, DCCCNTVALID0 and DCCCNTSEED1 works fine
It looks like it is the same on all DCCs (DCC0-DCC7 and MCU_DCC0-MCU_DCC2)
I have tested the same on the evaluation board I have (TMDX654IDKEVM with AM65xx SR1.0). On the evaluation board it is possible to set registers DCCCLKSRC1 and DCCCLKSRC0
One observation is the DCCREV register. On the RCU601 3.0.0 On the evaluation board: 2.0.4

As mentioned in Table 12-9935 of TRM, we have to first enable the clock source by writing the key value to the KEY bitfields - this is valid for SR2.0 only. Same reasoning will go for DCCCLKSRC1 also.

I have tried writing to the key value first but it looks like it is read only (both DCCCLKSRC0 and DCCCLKSRC1).

Hi,

you can follow the sequence mentioned in packages/ti/csl/src/ip/dcc/v0/priv/dcc.c, in function DCCSetConfig()?

This code is used in the packages/ti/csl/example/dcc/dcc_singleshotmode_app/dcc_app_v1.c and dcc_app.c.

Hi,

We have used this code and looked at the example but without luck. Registers DCCCLKSRC0 and DCCCLKSRC1 are always 0x00000000.

As mentioned earlier I read 3.0.0 from the DCCREV registry (see picture below). In the documentation I have (SPRUID7E) it says 2.0.4 in DCCREV. What is the difference between 3.0.0 and 2.0.4? Is there any documentation on 3.0.0? Attached is also a picture of the version register for am6548 that we use (see picture below).
