My customer uses the PC emulation mode to develop some OpenVX vision apps on TDA4VM and ask how they can get the C7x DSP load. Is that possible?

During PC emulation one can not get C7x DSP load, To measure that one should run on EVM.

Thank you. I saw how to monitor the C7x load through TI RTOS (link). Would this method work on the PC emulation platform?

Hi François,

No that will not work on PC emulation environment. PC emulation is only for "ease of use" for functional development, its not really a SOC/IP simulator which models all instructions and memory latencies.
