McASP device driver for C6A8168

Hello,

Is there any time plan for the development of sys/bios mcasp drivers on C6A8168 platforms? The PSP of the EZSDK has nothing about that so far. According to the mcasp device driver document, acctually the mcasp driver for the bios5 is a modified version of bios6 using the IDriver model. Does it mean that I can use the driver available for my C6A8168 platform? I just need to let the DSP side access the audio peripherals rather than using ALSA from the ARM side.

At this moment, we have McASP driver support only for DM8148 platform.

About the time plan for C6A8168, we are yet to make plans. Hope it will start soon.

Hi,

I am trying to use McASP in sysbios for dm8148 evm. Do we have any examples for this? where can I find the driver source files?

I am using ezsdk_5_02_01_58
