DRA829V: What's difference btw DRA829V and TDA4VM

Hi TI

I could not figure out the difference btw DRA829V and TDA4VM.

Earlier I understood DRA829 does not support Imaging, Video Accelerator, Deep Learning and GPU.

But I can not find clear difference from block diagram below.

Please indicate the difference btw tow parts. TI website does not provide clear statement as it made customer confused.

Hi Jack,

The differences are subtle, but inside the "Capture Subsystem" section, TDA4VM has a VPAC (Vision Processing Accelerators) and DMPAC (Depth and Motion Processing Accelerators), whereas DRA829 does not.

Please also note that the full DRA829 block diagram is DRA829J, there is also DRA829V which excludes the DSPs, MMA, GPU, and video encoder/decoder. For a full comparison list, please refer to section 5, table 5-1 on the DRA829 datasheet, which can be found on the DRA829 device page at https://www.ti.com/product/DRA829V.
