NON-standard digital video implementation problem

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320DM6437

Hi,

I'm working on the tms320dm6437 DSP and I would like to implement a NON-standard digital video output with the following specifications:

1)     50 Hz frame rate
2)     Image output of 640 * 480 * 16Bit per pixel and the output VD, HD sync signals
3)     8-Bit video output

Can you please help me implement these issues?

Thank you,

Motti

  • Motti,

Welcome to the TI E2E Forums. You will find a lot of useful information here on a variety of the issues you may face in your development program. There is also a lot of helpful information in the TI Wiki Pages. Topics there have been written for a wide variety of issues that we all face. You can search for a given idea, just like you do here on the E2E Forum. Or you can go to a category and look in the alphabetical list of topics. You can also look through the Applications pages on the TI Home Page and find links to useful Application Reports.

How far have you progressed so far on your DM6437 project? Some background would be helpful so we can better judge where to direct you for help. For example, it may be that you will be best served by contacting one of our Elite Design Houses or a company on our DaVinci Developer Network. These are experienced DSP and video developers who can help you reach your goals quickly.

Or if you are prepared for a different direction, let us know more.

    Regards,
