AM5716: Inquiry about RunStop bit and DevCtrlHlt bit in USB function

Hello Experts,

Our customer would like to know the maximum time from setting RunStop bit in DCTL register to "0" to the DevCtrlHlt bit in DSTS register becomes 0.

I'm not sure if TI has data. Can I have your advice/comments on this, please?

The way you posed the question seems to have the polarity backwards. When the RunStop bit is set to 0, the controller sets the DevCtrlHlt bit to 1, and vice versa. We're still looking into the time delay.

We do not have any data for the time delay. Are you seeing a very long delay time? What are your observations?

Hi Zack,

Thank you for your investigation. It seems customer is developing specific USB kernel driver and I believe they'd like to decide timeout value for this. I will share your comments. I'd like to wait for their feedback for a while.
