I recommend that someone in TI try a clean build following the directions in "building the SDK" section for 07_03_00. That page (software-dl.ti.com/.../Overview_Building_the_SDK.html is incorrect or at least misleading, and should be corrected.
For example, the "Using source package snapshot" section refers to "downloading a script" (.../Install.bin) and then running it to fetch all the packages. Well, yes, it's an install, which does create some directories with binaries, but which has no relation that I can see to any of the instructions in the steps that follow one paragraph later. Perhaps you mean one of the tarballs, or that one or more of the scripts that are in the results of running install.bin should be run. This should be clarified.
Nor are any of the "extra" steps in red, as promised by that same paragraph. No red to be found in that list of steps.
But let's say that you download and expand one of the tarballs (not the Install.bin mentioned in those notes). Having carefully installed the 9.2 tool chains, it seems that all of the examples use the 8.3 toolchains. Maybe one can work around this, but it really ought to be fixed.
Then, it doesn't appear that there's a linux-sdk-arago-src-07.03.00.005/source_pkg_list.txt (as required by one of those steps). There are a bunch of earlier versions, and one that's dunfell.7.0.1 or the like, but none that seem to match the current version (7.03.00.005). And unfortunately the <target> "arago-core-tisdk-bundle" doesn't seem to be available for am335x-evm. The other targets are, but not that one.
It appears that the instructions were never tested on a clean system.
I went through all of this same deal with one of the 6.* builds a couple of years ago, and sorted it all out, with a long cheat sheet to deal with the inaccuracies and missing pieces in the SDK and Wiki pages. I now have a break between releases, and thought it was a good time to upgrade to the latest and greatest.
It would also be helpful to see some directory names, or proxies (<SRC-DOWNLOAD-DIR> or the like), to clarify what the process is.
Please have someone with a good eye for quality go through that page to help you get it fixed up. Right now, and I know this because I've fallen into that trap myself, that page reads like instructions for someone who already knows how to do it.
