Part Number: DRA821U
I'm working with a customer on a DRA821U design. They are choosing an LPDDR4 device. The last device I supported with DDR was the AM57x family, and we provided a spreadsheet tool for determining the proper register settings for DDR timing which we programmed into the software.
I'm not finding the same kind of tool for DRA821U. I see with LPDDR4 there may be some kind of auto initialization/calibration that takes place. Do we need to program board specific timings into the DDR registers, or does the device automatically setup the timing (so long as we follow the hardware design guidelines)?
