TMDXEVM6670L Questions

Hi,

I received a few questions on this EVM.

1. Do we have any details about how to interface the TMDXEVM6670L evaulation kit to a PCIe type bus. (suggeastions, kits, etc)?

2. What else is required besides this evm to do testing of FFT on this board?

    Marc,

    We are working on a PCIe Adapter board that would plug into a PC, when it's available it will be sold through the PDC.

    The EVM will be packaged w/ CCSv5 and you can use the onboard XDS100 emulation to connect, load and execute code.  You will be able to do full FFT testing on the board.

    This seems like a reasonable thread to ask these questions on - hopefully on topic!

    I have several 'rookie' questions about the PCIe interfaces and the C6670 evaluation board, in reference to your statements above.

    1) What is 'PDC' ?

    2) Any guess as to when is the PCIe Adapter board going to be ready?

    3) I am attempting to evaluate the FFT performance and need very fast interface between the host ( PC/PCIe, ethernet?) and the evaluation board.  - Is there a better way of getting high speed interface to the evaluation module?
