TDA4VM: where is the kernel implementation of app_c7x_kernel

In the demo vision_apps\apps\basic_demos\app_c7x_kernel, the function app_c7x_target_kernel_img_add_register() in defination x86_64 is not executed, so where are the kernel callback such as process_func，create_func are executed? which processor defination x86_64 belongs to?

Hello,

All of the C7x target code is located within the vision_apps/apps/basic_demos/app_c7x_kernel/c7x folder. Within this folder is the app_c7x_target_kernel_img_add.cpp file which contains the create/process/delete callbacks for the target side kernel.

This demo is supported in PC emulation mode, so the x86_64 is the PC emulation build for this kernel.

In this demo, the create/process/delete callbacks for the target side kernel are located at app_c7x_target_kernel_img_add_register() function. But the app_c7x_target_kernel_img_add_register() is called within x86_64 . If we do not use PC emulation mode,where are the create/process/delete callbacks are called?

I see this demo is supported in other mode. where are the create/process/delete callbacks except PC emulation mode?

Hello,

This demo is supported in EVM mode as well as PC emulation mode.

For EVM mode, the app_c7x_target_kernel_img_add_register is called at vision_apps/apps/basic_demos/app_tirtos/common/app_init.c. This registers all of the callbacks on the C7x during init time.
