TMDSICE3359: Linux console and USB descriptors

Part Number: TMDSICE3359

Hi,

Our own design is based on TMDSICE3359 but there is a FT2232 with external EEPROM containing the USB descriptors which create at least one COM port in Windows and two ttyUSB ports in Linux. /dev/ttyUSB1 acts a Linux console.

Are you able to deliver the USB descriptors for the EEPROM in TMDSICE3359 as delivered for another evm in https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors-group/processors/f/processors-forum/947485/tmdsidk574-the-contents-data-of-93lc56b?tisearch=e2e-sitesearch&keymatch=93LC56B#  and most likely in https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors-group/processors/f/processors-forum/739885/linux-processor-sdk-am335x-board_is_evm_sk/2733972?tisearch=e2e-sitesearch&keymatch=93LC56B#2733972 ? I guess this could allow us to use CCS to communicate with our board.

Or is it better to put a normal FT232 without any external EEPROM and use a normal FTDI USB driver with a Linux console (115200 8N1) and forget the use with CCS?

Regards,

Jani
