TDA4VM: hyperflash booting supported on TDA4VM Rev1.1?

Dear Champs,

is hyperflash booting supported on TDA4VM Rev1.1?

I checked the errata related with hyperbus of TDA4 was resolved in TDA4VM Rev1.1 and also found uboot user guide for hyperflash as below.

But, I also found hyperflash is still 'reserved' for bootmode in TRM as below, and I'm wondering if TRM is not updated yet and hyperflash is supported on TDA4VM rev1.1 as a booting device.

Could you please clarify this and let me know if hyperflash booting can be supported on TDA4VM rev1.1 RTM device?

    Hi SI,

    ROM support: Yes from ROM point of view HBMC boot is validated on SR1.1 for TDA4VM.

    Bootloader support: 

    Hyperflash boot is supported in SPL/Uboot for DRA821 only today. This is not available on TDA4VM on rev1.1. So this is a SW limitation.

    I would suggest if Hyperflash boot is coming in as a requirement from your customer on TDA4VM then please create an internal JIRA requirement for the same so that we can discuss on plan to integrate that.
